What CPD is, and isn't
CPD means continuing professional development: short training that adds to the skills of people already working in a field.
New to beauty? Start with our Level 2 diploma. It's a regulated qualification and you don't need any experience.
- What you get
- A CPD certificate of attendance from Glam & Go Academy, carrying the CPD Certified mark.
- What it isn't
- It isn't a regulated qualification, it doesn't replace one, and it doesn't on its own give anyone permission to practise.
- Insurance
- A CPD certificate may not be enough to get insurance. Check with your insurer before you book.
- Entry requirements
- Each course lists who it's for. We check you meet them before you book.
Courses we're running
Each CPD course is a single day, with theory first and supervised practice after. Prices include VAT.

Questions
Is a CPD course a qualification?
No. A CPD course adds to the skills of people who already work in the field, and you get a CPD certificate of attendance. It isn't a regulated qualification and doesn't replace one. Our Level 2 and Level 3 diplomas are regulated qualifications.
Will a CPD certificate get me insured?
Not necessarily. Insurers set their own rules, and many ask for a recognised qualification in the treatment as well. Check with your insurer before you book.
Can complete beginners take these courses?
Only anatomy and physiology for aesthetics and the makeup course. The others are for people who already work in beauty, aesthetics or healthcare. If you're new, start with our Level 2 diploma.
